Fletcher is eight years old, all freckles and big round glasses, a keen apprentice with a bow on his back and a question for everything. In Fletcher's world, curiosity shapes courage, and no adventure is too small to carry a big lesson.

From a sun-dappled cottage at the edge of Willow Wood, Fletcher, his little sister Sable, faithful bloodhound Quiver, kitten Tink, and a very talkative parrot named Flu Flu turn ordinary days into gentle adventures, and every adventure into a lesson of the heart, guided by Grandpa Bo and the quiet wisdom of God's Word. Along the way they're helped by two one-of-a-kind scientists and inventors, Dr. Chuck and Professor Q.
